Keri and her Boys!

Well, I finally got to meet Keri and her beautiful family. I'm so excited she had to come all the way here for her brother's wedding, otherwise I might have never happened. This family was full of playing. They were so much fun to watch on the beach. This was the boys' first experience with the ocean (well, not this particular day - but this vacation!)

It's hard to catch the three boys together - so I managed to sneak one in while they were lulled by the rolling waves.
Again more playing. These boys love to be in the air. Here's O in the front - he loved being front and center!
Did I say already that it was hard to get all three boys together? A sucker sure helped - but they weren't too pleased with me distracting them from their busy work.
My new favorite image of all times. I've been wanting to capture a silhouette like this for a while. Again, a common theme - the boys in the air - I just love it!
It was so fun meeting you guys. I can't wait to go through the rest of the portraits! Don't forget to leave Keri (and me) a comment! Share the LOVE!

Tre's gonna have a baby!

Tre contacted me wanting some early pregnancy portraits. I thought it was a great idea and look forward to more portaits when she is full term to really show the different stages. She is absolutely stunning and was so much to photograph.

Measure check - about 37 inches - look for that to change in the coming months!

Their current family portrait - I love it!

Just Mom and Dad
Checking out the awesome maternity wardrobes out these days. It's so hip to be pregnant now!
Are they not gorgeous?!? She is absolutely glowing. Look forward to more from this couple!

Griffin is Here!

What a sweet little boy and a family that loves him so much already. I had so much fun photographing their first born and can't wait to get through all his portraits!

Sweet and snug in a blanket made with love from Grandma!

Wide-eyed wonder hanging on Dad's shoulder. I can't believe how alert he is. Simply amazing.
We won't even say what we had to do to finally get him to sleep so peacefully - but I'll say..... it was worth it. I love this one.
This is Griffin's signature pose - the fist on the chin - so glad he could take time out of his busy schedule to strike it for me.
Did I say already what a beautiful family this is? There's nothing like family snuggle time.
Make sure you welcome Griffin to the world with some awesome comments - his mom and dad want to know who's peeking (and I do, too).

The M Family - on the beach!

What a wonderful family to photograph on the beach. Mom contacted me requesting a beach session to celebrate her little one's (C) 1st birthday. He was so happy and loved the beach. You can see his expression - this was only minutes after he put his toes in the sand!
Big Sister K was enjoying the water, too. Can you say, "Happy!"
I think K looks like an angel here - with her shirt making the perfect wings. The only thing is, I think she was terrified of being thrown in the air!
I love his expression here! It's such a one-year-old expression.
A quick, sweet, family portrait. The kids were so funny - they weren't really happy to see mom and dad have a moment together - but I snuck in a shot when they weren't looking!
I can't wait to go through the rest of the session. If you're looking at this blog - please leave a comment for this beautiful family - they like knowing who's looking!

Happy Birthday Will!

Today Will is ONE! I can't believe how fast a year can go by. I thought it would be fun to share a little Will history in honor of his 1st birthday.

Here's mom and big sister Carly waiting on little will to make his arrival.
Can you believe how small he is on this great big bed?
One of my all time favorite images - I love a curled newborn!
Smily, happy, one year old, WILL!
A little collage from his smash the cake series.
Happy Birthday WILLIAM!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! I'll get all sappy if I write too much, but I just want to say.....

I Love You, MOM!

This photo was taken in California when I was out for a visit. Mom, I know this isn't fully enhanced like you would like - but I love it. It is what it is. Just you and me, just like we are.
And would you look at the family we have!!!! Six children and 4 Grandchildren. All together in one place - what an accomplishment - especially when you consider that we live in 6 different states!!
Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms!!!!!

The G Family - So Fun!

I met with the G family for an in-home session. They were so much fun and have so much love for each other. I'll tell you, it was hard to only pick a few for the blog! I love these kinds of family shots - here they are just hanging in the hammock.
They have such a beautiful property. We managed to get little A to sit for a minute for a shot of the family! This was no small victory.
Ahhh - little A - she really does love the outdoors. She just loves to explore her yard.
And here's her sweet baby brother - Wide eyed and full of bubbles!
I finally managed to catch a smile - only after just letting her go and then playing hide-n-seek with her! My goodness - could she be any cuter?
I can't wait to go through more of the portraits from this session. Thanks Jamie for the great referral.

Happy Mother's Day, L!

Grandchamp Twins - a quick introduction!

Well, they finally arrived and I loved meeting them. They are beyond adorable and I really could have stayed all day and photoraphed them and I don't think I would have tired. Well, I take that back - I was pretty tired after just a few hours!

Meet Cameron Reed - safe in daddy's arm with a hint of a smile!

And Morgan Elizabeth - wide eyed and sooooo sweet!

After much patience, they were finally asleep at the same time. It didn't last long and it gave me a small glance into the life of raising twins. That's Morgan on the left and Cameron on the right, already protecting his baby sister (well he is 1 minute older!)

Sigh, it's just about too sweet for words. Here they are switched up - now Cameron is on the left and Morgan is on the right.

I was thinking this one (or the one above) would be a good one for the birth announcements - but I just couldn't decide if I liked color or black/white. So - here's both so you can decide!

I can't end this post without show a proud Daddy and Big Brother, Dylan!

And of course - one of Jill! She looks absolutely amazing - it's hard to believe she's sleep deprived and gave birth to twins just 2 short weeks ago! WOW!

Well, Jill - Happy Mother's Day. You are so blessed to have three beautiful children!

Oh, and anyone else enjoying these babies - please feel free to leave comments - I love to read them - and maybe you can help Jill decide on a birth announcement picture!
