Miss M and Miss L at the beach!

I'll tell you, having a son, I love when I get an opportunity to photograph girl. These two sisters were so much fun. Check out Little Miss L showing some sas!

Big sister L was happy to perform when the task was climbing and jumping out of trees.
This one just cracks me up!!! "Is this how you wanted us to hug, Mommy?"
I feel like they are having a serious heart-to-heart talk here. I love both of their expressions.
There's nothing like a piggy back ride from Mom!

Now, here's the sweet sisters. I really love this portrait.

Spillman Family - at the beach!

I knew from the first phone call that this would be a fun family. They were so relaxed and just ready to enjoy the beach. The kids were beyond beautiful and in the best moods. Sarah, thanks so much for contacting me and allowing me to photograph your family!!!

Mr. C - I'm surprised I was able to catch this - he was on the move the whole time!!!
Some tickle time with Little A!
What a great looking pair of parents - so natural in front of the camera.
This really turned out cute! It wasn't what I initally planned - and I think I'll try to do something with it - but it was to cute not to share here. I wish we'd of written names or something in the sand, too.
Can you say, "Cute, cute, cute?"
I love how the kids are looking at mom and dad!!! This was so fun.

Of course - you can't go to the beach without someone getting wet. This time it was Little A. She was quite the trooper. Never cried or made even the slightest fuss. I was cold just watching her.
I've been getting lots of blog readers, but so many of you are forgetting to leave a comment! Please let me know you've been here - it's the one thing that photographers LOVE!

Michelle's gonna have a baby!!

I'm so excited for Michelle. She's been a friend of mine of a couple years now and it won't be long before she's got a new bundle at her house. Little Brooklyn is so excited about her "new baby". As soon as I got there she had to show me around the house, stopping first at "my baby's new room".

She really is excited, although she was serious in this picture. I like the seriousness here.
Trying for some moodier light. Michelle and I were laughing at what the neighbors must have thought if they saw her at the window!
It's really hard to believe she's going to have a baby soon. She looks like she's got a couple months left!
Family tickle time!!And just some time for mom and dad - get it while you can!!!!

Michelle, thanks so much for letting me capture you and your beautiful family! I can't wait to see the baby!!!
Keep watching folks - the baby will be showcased, soon!

Welcome to the world, Miles

Well, we almost missed it, this sweet curled little ball of wonder. If this session were a couple days later, I'm not sure it would be quite the same. Newborns change so fast. The window to catch them in their squishy glory is so short lived. I'm so glad the Z family contacted me in time!

I will say, this baby was the sweetest, most mellow baby! He really fought sleep, but was willing to just hang out with mom and dad.

A newborn yawn, sweet little feet, in Dad's hands..... what more could you ask for?
Shhhhhh, Miles is sleeping.
I can't even thing of any words to describe this beautiful image!!!
Let this beautiful baby be a lesson....don't wait to book your newborn session. Scheduling while pregnant is best. If you go past the 2 week mark, it's tough to get these curly babies.

Every parent knows their baby is the most beautiful child, so be sure to leave a comment for the parents letting them know they are right!

G family at the beach!

Cute, cute, cute!!!! This little guy was so stinking cute - and full of personality to match. I could have photographed him all day - and I actually think he would have let me!!!! He really reminded me of my son, which was even more fun for me.

He really loved the beach.
This subtle smile just melts me.
We were playing hide and seek in the sea oats - he was just cracking up!!
The best thing: this cute little boy has a beautiful family, too!
And we can't leave out his little sister. She was trying so hard to smile for us. She was such a trooper sitting in a hot blanket when it was soooooo hot outside.
I can't wait to go through the rest of the images. Don't forget to leave a comment if you stopped by!

7 Adults + 4 Kids = FUN!

Can you say beautiful and fun? Those are the two words that keep coming to mind when I look at this family. From the second I got there, the kids were smiling and ready. This was such a shock to my system - I'm so used to them running away!!!

This picture makes me think of my parents. They would love to have a portrait with all 4 (plus one on the way) of their grandchildren. This is one of my favorites!

The kids were so full of love and laughter.
Little Matt - oh, my, what a smile!!!! He was such a ham he didn't even notice that Mom and Dad had moved away.

Put these three together and it's nothing but fun!
I loved that they wanted to play and be silly.

As we were getting ready to run to escape the rain, big sister L stopped to try to catch a few. This just says childhood to me.
I really had a great time with this session. I can't wait to go through them all and share with the family. Melissa, thanks for choosing me as your photographer!!!!
