Showcase on the Boys!

I just wanted to share a bit more from the Smash the Cake x3 series. These boys were so fun!
It's been awesome watching them grow up. First there's Megan and big brother Cooper waiting for Jalen to make his presence known.

Here's Jalen at about 4 weeks old. Look how wide eyed he was! Oh, so sweet!

And now - what a big boy! He is on the move - walking around - being too cute!

And he even took some time to stop and do a little posing for us!

Ok, I was going to try to put all the boys on one page - but it's not working - so I'll come back later for Will and Liam!

Cake Smashing Fun - well, maybe not!

Last year about this time, I had the pleasure of photographing Megan, Melissa, and Christina during their pregnancy. They opened up their homes again so I could capture their beautiful newborn boys. Well, look who's turning 1?!? Jalen, Will, and Liam!!!!!

I thought it would be fun to have some cake smashing fun with them - and it was fun - I'm just not sure if the boys really enjoyed it!

They started out a little unsure...

And decided - yep - I don't like it (except Liam)

So, we thought - maybe they just wanted to get up off the cold, wet, grass.....



And decided - nope - that wasn't it either (except for Liam)



I think what they wanted was just to be in dry clothes. Could they get any cuter?

Jill's going to have twins..... TOMORROW!

I just can't believe it. Not only is she going to have twins tomorrow - but she let me take portraits of her on Friday (that was just 3 days ago, folks) at 38-weeks.

I've been meaning to update my website, and in looking at it realized I didn't have any recent maternity sessions to show. Thank you, Jill, for accomodating me! I had to limit the session to about 30-45 minutes - so I didn't get nearly the shots I could have, but I'm pleased with what I did capture.

The proof is in the ultrasound!

She is absolutely radiant!

Dylan had a great time "playing" on mommy.

I just love the expression on Dylan's face here - he sure does love his mommy!

Welcome Ryan Grace!

What a beautiful 6-week old! Although the full gallery is already up - I thought this would give me an opportunity to practice. For most of the session - she was wide-eyed and taking in the world!

This is a good example of what she really thought of me!

Then after much work from Jamie (mom) and I, we finally got her to sleep - but we had a real hard time getting her off of the blanket and out of her bouncy seat!

With some quick moves from mom, we finally got in a shot without the blanket - just for some contrast!
